Many of the toys we have selected for you are manufactured from Asian Rubberwood.
When rubber trees have exhausted their economic life (about 25-30 years), they are felled and replanted. Previously, this timber was used for low value products, such as firewood … now it is harvested and used to make products like our toys, saving old-growth forests in the process.
Rubberwood can also be sanded to a super-smooth finish without the need for lacquers, and is non absorbent, so spills can wipe off easily.

Voila is a Thai wooden toy company that was established in 1981, based in the Samutprakarn province, employing 300 workers.
Voila was the first Thai wooden toy company to earn the right to use the Green Label Logo from the Thailand Environmental Institute for products made from Rubberwood, and the first wooden toy company in Thailand to receive certification in the ISO standards for quality, environment and workplace health and safety (ISO9000, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
The Voila toys are carefully designed to stimulate children’s imagination, as well as to support their physical and mental development.
